During Regular Business Hours:
- Patient Portal: For non-urgent concerns, please send us a message through our Patient Portal. Messages will be returned within 24-48 hours during normal business hours, Monday – Friday. If you have not registered to use the Patient Portal, please call us at (612) 813-3300 to set up your account.
- Phone: You may also call our pulmonary nurse directly at (612) 813-3300 for assistance.
After Hours:
- Urgent Concerns: If you have urgent medical concerns outside of regular business hours, please call our main line at (612) 813-3300. Your call will be routed to an after-hours operator and returned by an on-call pediatric pulmonologist.
- Non-Urgent Concerns: Patient Portal messages are for non-urgent concerns only and will not be returned outside of regular business hours.
Important Information:
- Potential Fees for e-Visits: Depending on the complexity of your inquiry, there may be a fee associated with the service provided. Messages requiring significant medical decision-making, equivalent to an in-office visit, will be billed to your insurance provider under applicable CPT codes:
- 99421 (5-10 minutes)
- 99422 (11-20 minutes)
- 99423 (21+ minutes)
Exemptions (Messages that will not be billed):
- Appointment scheduling
- Prescription refill requests
- Billing inquiries
- Messages initiated by the care team
- Follow-up questions within 7 days of a prior appointment
