Personal Bio

Dr. Kalinowski is a native Midwesterner who grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Michigan, followed by her medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School. She then moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and completed her Pediatrics Residency and Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Kalinowski’s professional interests include pediatric trauma management and outcomes, as well as medical education, particularly curriculum development and simulation-based training. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time outdoors exploring the lakes and trails with her dog, spinning, and baking sourdough bread.
