Dr. Hendrickson grew up in Minneapolis and then in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.

Dr. Hendrickson graduated magna cum laude from Gustavus Adolphus College in St Peter, MN with a degree in biochemistry. She attended medical school at the U of Pittsburgh and completed her residency in general pediatrics at Brown University in Providence, RI.  Dr. Hendrickson completed her fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at the University of Minnesota prior to joining CRCCS. Dr. Hendrickson is Board Certified for American Board of Pediatrics - Critical Care Medicine.
 
Her special medical interests include traumatic brain injury and post-operative care for children with congenital heart disease. Dr. Hendrickson has received teaching awards during residency and fellowship and enjoys teaching and supervising medical students, residents and fellows.
 
Dr. Hendrickson lives in Minneapolis and enjoys kayaking, biking, hiking, sculpting and cooking in her free time.
