    • Caring for patients with cystic fibrosis, asthma, infant wheezing, recurrent pneumonia, and congenital malformations of the lung
    • Healthcare quality improvement & model analysis of healthcare delivery

    Dr. McNamara serves as Medical Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Center and has been awarded the 2011 "Angela Warner Friend of the CF Foundation Award" by the Minnesota Chapter of the CF Foundation. Dr. McNamara also serves as the Medical Director for Home Care, Palliative Care & Hospice and the Transitional Technology Dependent Program.

    Additionally, he serves as a clinical associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota where he teaches medical students, residents and graduate physicians.

    Dr. McNamara has lived in Minnesota since 1990. He and his wife have raised two children. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, travel, reading and following the Vikings.
